Company Visit Tour in Fukui for International Students
This site visit was organized for international students aspiring to work in Japan.
At Fukuvi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., our first destination, we were warmly welcomed by the staff members.
The visit included a company introduction and a facility tour. Mr. Alexander Karpechenko, Chief of the Global Sales Promotion Division, kindly provided detailed explanations in English about each of the company’s products.
The students listened attentively and showed strong interest throughout the presentation.

Next, at the Megane Museum, participants explored exhibitions showcasing eyeglasses, one of Fukui’s traditional industries. It was particularly impressive to see the students carefully examining historical materials related to the development of eyewear in the region.

Finally, at Fukui Megane Industry Co., Ltd., we observed the eyewear manufacturing process. The factory demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining an excellent working environment, including glass-walled production areas that reflect transparency and respect for employees. In addition, the thoughtfully designed product displays, design studios, and meeting rooms for business negotiations created a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere for visitors. The students were greatly impressed by the company’s thorough management practices and attention to detail.

Through this site visit, we hope that international students gained a closer understanding of Japanese culture and the spirit of craftsmanship, and that this experience will contribute to their future employment and long-term settlement in the region.
